Office Manager

As an office manager at Kuchinate you will have the opportunity to work in a creative environment, making a difference in our community of women and the organization by making sure all the administrative tasks run efficiently and in an organized way.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, self-started, well organized, detail oriented and enjoys administrative work in a dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Administration duties for incoming and outgoing operations.

  • Develop and implement systems and processes to improve efficiency in administrative work.

  • Oversee day-to-day office maintenance and equipment.

  • Ensure Kuchinate administrative policies and procedures are met and staff are trained on such.

  • Create and record invoices.

  • Administration of invoices and payment.

  • Maintain and restock inventory and supplies.

  • Design and implement filing systems.

  • Perform bookkeeping functions with supervision of the bookkeeper.

  • Assist with processing income, expenses, salaries and bank deposits.

  • Data analysis.

Skills and qualifications

  • Written and spoken fluency in Hebrew and English.

  • At least two years’ work experience in an administrative position. Experience working in NGOs or INGOs is an added advantage.

  • Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; capability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to work in a team and independently, take initiative, prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Graduate degree an advantage.

  • Preference given to Amharic or Tigrinya speakers.
